We had a short day stopping in Boonville because the next accommodations were over 30 miles farther. After getting our room at the Headwaters Motor Lodge, we headed to the creamery next door. We had already ordered our icecream before noticing a sign about wine ice creams made with wine. So we convinced them to allow us do a taste test with all six flavors. I liked the port but the overall winner was the raspberry chardonnays. Kevin’s keen eye noticed propane grills at the end of the lodge so we decided to go to the grocery store and buy some brats to cook up. We played with the nerf football and I got to put on a cornering ‘clinic’ to illustrate counter steering to the group. (gets you into the turn a lot quicker) After dinner we played foosball and pool in the lodges game room with Patsy Cline playing on the jukebox.
