So let's start with something funny.Today after picking up my new bike from Fanatik bicycles I had to ride to another bikeshop to get a front pannier rack so I rode off to the old downtown region of Fairhaven. At Fairhaven bike & ski I got a front rack system and instruction on how to install it. When I went to check out the guy that was helping me did a double take on my name. He said he knew a racer by the same name up here in the great northwest. I told him it was funny 'cause just last week I was on the USCF (United States Cycling Federation) website and I 
entered my name and a list of races a guy with my name had competed in came up. Of course, I haven't competed in many races especially none in this part of the country.

I'll be going back into that bike shop tomorrow I'm thinking if I see the same guy again I might show him a website that says his friend is leading the tour de dirt championship in my age class.
